Update the old online enrollment application with modern AKC design and development standards

UX/UI and research design circa 2023
The old Canine Partners application was difficult to use, ran on out dated languages, and was not mobile friendly. This project was to bring the enrollment application in to the modern age.
To gain a better understanding of the Canine Partners program I did user research into what people think of it and what they expect from the program. Gauging how owners of mixed breeds classified their dogs helped to best collect the required information.
I did user interview and, working on a tight research budget, scoured the internet and social sites to build a persona of the intended user.
Taking my research and business objectives I set about performing task analysis to understand my users and how to best suit their needs. I also produced a customer journey map. Much of my researched proved to be still valid years later by 3rd party market researchers.
The wireframing, or lo-fi, design phase often takes the most time. This is where all the major decisions is structure and function are made. I love to use analog media as it is easier to think with a pen then a mouse.
A selection hi-fi designs from final, approved application.
The project meet all of its objectives to create a modern enrollment process for mixed breed dog owners. Additionally it generated new information about the user base that was used to make future business decisions.
